Hypnotherapy

Hypnosis has a long tradition of healing and of providing space for going deeper into your life process. The human brain is naturally equipped for hypnosis as a way for the body and mind to heal; you may have experienced this state when you’ve been sick or traumatized. There is also the phenomenon called “highway hypnosis”, whereby a person becomes tranced by the monotony of the road and people arrive at their destination unaware of time passage and the journey. These are examples of the built in circuit that you have as a resource.

Hypnosis involves having a practitioner create the space for that circuit to be used in a therapeutic way for the client. The beauty of this approach is that it allows the client to dictate the content of the hypnosis and the direction of the trance. There are a number of issues that you can work on; it may be the reduction of concerns like stress, anxiety, fear, or addictive behavior or enhancement in the areas of life such as exercise, diet, self-confidence, or performance, sex, self-esteem, and happiness.

Whatever your focus of your work, I’ll work with you to find the best approach to give you the results you need. We will record the sessions; I’ll edit the trance, add music, and send you a copy for your continued use to get the maximum benefit from our work together.
